The Coolest Guy On The Planet - SEO experiment by Matt Ng
Who is The Coolest Guy On The Planet?. When you search for the keyword, "the coolest guy on the planet" on Google, you will find about 1,070,000 results. On Yahoo, about 1,160,000 results and on MSN, about 215,085 results (as of 10 March 2007).
Why are there so many result pages on that particular keyword? Well, from what I know it’s an SEO contest(started in July 2006), to find out who is the best at optimizing the keyword "the coolest guy on the planet" to be #1 on Google search. At the moment the top ranking position is being held by Brad Fallon for quite some time now.
I was thinking to myself maybe I will give it a try and see if I could be on the first page of Google search as I find that this is quite an interesting challenge. It doesn’t hurt ,right?! Even if I don’t get to be on the top, I know at least I’ll be the coolest guy on the planet in Malaysia to have tried. 
I don’t really know who started this "who is the coolest guy on the planet-seo contest", but I know that it provides tips and tricks for newbies and internet marketers to learn and experiment with SEO (search engine optimisation). If you know the answer on who started this, please do let me know.

Oh shucks…. I thought I’d take a stab to see if I made it on the “coolest girl on the planet” and I am so disappointed I didn’t make the list

Woohoo! I’m ranked #3 right now as the coolest girl on the planet. It’s not as tough a competition, though, as the coolest guy. But at any rate, I’m pretty happy that Google can find me!
