Yeah it’s a very good news indeed.

Just one question left, how do we cash out the cheques from CB?

Matt Ng @ 12:20 pm

Hi Badang,

You can just bank it into any local bank and it’ll clear within 30-45 days(cause it’s a foreign check).

or you can also add in your local bank account details and they will TT/Direct debit it in.

Dear All,

Great news indeed.

I don’t want to take credit but I wrote an article at my blog on Clickbank intention to go global. It was my response to the Clickbank CEO’s blog. I made the following comments:

1. Clickbank should expand its mode of payment to Paypal instead of via cheques.
2. Clickbank should open its affilliates to all nationals if its want to go global like ebay.

Bob King (Clickbank’s CEO) responded by saying that Clickbank will look into opening up its membership to more countries.

I hope my comments triggered Clickbank action to open it to Malaysians.

Can someone guide me what to do next beside join the clickbank affiliate program.
Is it a must to have a website to promote the products?
Please email me if you have any advice on this.

Clickbank is an awesome resource. I didn’t realize that they were banned in the Phillipines. I hope they change this soon.

Fred,

If I am not wrong, the review was the results of G-to-G trade talks which were attempting FTA then.

CB just couldn’t indiscriminately ban an entire country just because there were some credit card fraudsters whom they dislike - just as others shouldn’t indiscriminately kill US residents just because they hate some Americans - that was the gist of case put forward to our trade negotiators to get US to tell CB to review its blanket ban!

If you attended one of Mr. Steven Wong free seminars in PJ late last year (2007), you would have been told about this G-to-G trade talks where I mentioned CB issue would be taken up with the US.

CB is one of the largest digital product retailers and they viewed individual complaints in that perspective. However, no harm raising legitimate issues with them even if individually…

Gee.

If CB had not opened it doors to Malaysians they would be in for a big lost. Which I’m sure they are already experiencing now.

Thay are no the only digital product retailer you know. Look what happened to Makro in Malaysia…

Samuel @ 2:12 pm

Which african countries are allowed to open clickbank account?

September 1, 2008

Steven Fu @ 3:48 am

Hi Fir2008, in a nutshell, you need to know about affiliate/internet marketing. You then go over to Clickbank to choose the most popular affiliate products in your niche market to sell.

You then get paid commssions for sales that you make. Why Clickbank? Well, they are trusted, reliable and in issuing checks for your commission.

Hope that answers your question.
