CLICKBANK is now available for Malaysians to sign up.

Malaysians can now sign up for a clickbank account! That’s right, IT’S TRUE! Previously, Malaysians can’t sign up for a clickbank account. And now FINALLY after a long period, Clickbank has come back to Malaysia. Wooohoooooo!!! Bring out the champaign and celebrate!!! This has got to be the best news for the year 2007! Hmm…I wonder if Fabian Lim got anything to do with it . The last we spoke ( a few weeks back), he told me that he knows CB well and will talk to them to allow malaysians to sign up. It could be him or not as long as we, Malaysians finally get to use clickbank!! Wooohooo again! I’m really very very very happy! :)

Go sign up now for a CLICKBANK ACCOUNT HERE!

Clickbank Malaysia

UPDATE: 10th May 2007

"Malaysia"  is no longer listed on clickbank signup page. I’ve mailed them to find out why and have not received any news from them. My guess is that it was a technical glitch on their part and somehow "Malaysia", Macao", "Labanon" and some other countries was accidentaly shown (which was not intended to be in the first place). Will update this post from time to time when clickbank do allow Malaysians to sign up officially.

UPDATE: 11th May 2007

I’ve finally received the email response from them. It’s just a generic explanation as to why Malaysians got rejected. They did not say as to why "Malaysia" was in the list in the first  place. They did not answer my questions directly, which is " Why was the country Malaysia and Macao was in the list earlier on and why is it not there anymore? I’ve already signed up and it got rejected with the explanation that our country, Malaysia has a high fraud rate. You then should not put it up in the list in the first place. Is it a technical fault of clickbank?, cause it’s been up and then not listed again for a few times for the past years"

Here is their reply:

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in ClickBank!  Unfortunately, our security team has determined that we can no longer accept clients from certain countries, including Malaysia and Macao, due to the high rate of fraud we have experienced from those areas.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
Best Regards,

ClickBank Customer Service

UPDATE: 24th April 2008

Clickbank has finally allow Malaysian to sign up for their program. At long last! Please read more about it at http://internetmoneyblog.com/malaysia-and-certain-countries-can-now-signup-with-clickbank/

Hi Matt

I just fill in the form to sign-up, but Malaysia as usual not listed.

Are you sure about this. I use your link for sign-up process you know.

Please check

Dian Kusuma @ 7:17 pm

how u access it? i couldn’t find malaysia as an option in country

Matt Ng @ 7:35 pm

Hi Guys, It was there just now and now it’s not there. Luckily i took a screenshot to prove. I hope this is not a clickbank mistake and will allow Malaysians to sign up.

My guess why it’s not there now:

1) They screw up while doing maintenance by putting "Malaysia", "Macao" and the rest.
2) They are still updating the website to include "Malaysia" and something went wrong.
3) Could be some test to see how many Malaysians will sign up.

I really don’t know what happened but I did go in to check before I publish the story. I’m giving Clickbank 24hrs to see if "Malaysia" will be back up again. If not, looks like we have to complain and ask them for an explanation as to why they put it up in the first place and mislead us. It’s very unprofessional for cb to do that to us.

Thank God I have a screen shot to show as prove. Please do not send any emails to me as I too do not know what is going on. Let’s wait and see what happens. Keeping fingers crossed.

LcF @ 7:55 pm

well, disappointed again.

Matt Ng @ 8:08 pm

Hi Liew,

I hope CB is not screwing with us. This is so not right. :(
I just mailed them to ask for an explanation as to why it was up in the first place and now it’s not.

I’m going to sleep now. Gotta be up at 9am. I just hope that it’s not a screw up on their part by accidentally putting “Malaysia” up in the sign up form. Will post updates here once CB has replied my complain mail.

btw, don’t you ever sleep? Pot calling kettle black. :P

alex @ 8:11 pm

It seems like MALAYSIA has been removed from the list again… I’ve just checked it just now… What happened? I was very happy when I heard this news but again disappointed to see that MALAYSIA was not in the list anymore. LEBANON and MACAO are also not listed anymore. Haiya….

Kezo Tang @ 10:07 pm

whoa! that makes me cream in my pants man! LOL but then again we can always cross some fingers :D
Hopefully ClickBank does really intend to let us Malaysian on-board for a change, hey we got one of the best Internet Marketers here too y’know ClickBank?? :P

Galadriel @ 12:37 am

Hi Guys!

I signed up last nite during that small window of opportunity…

Of course, when I saw this morning that Malaysia, Brunei, Arab Saudi, Turkey, etc are no longer in the countries-accepted list,
I first thought I had accidentally signed onto one of those Phishing Sites so I emailed ClickBank about it just now.

Now I realize it’s probably a glitch or a test
(or just them messing with our minds?!?)

Anyway, it’s really disappointing. Especially since you know you can’t use your Malaysian address even if you did register:

=====================
From clickbank FAQ Library:
=====================
3. I tried to sign up with you, but my country is not listed on your form. Is there any way I can get an account with you?

We accept clients from over 100 countries. Unfortunately, if your country is not listed we cannot offer you an account at this time. We cannot make any exceptions to this rule.

4. My country isn’t listed on your sign up form. Can I sign up using a country that is on the list and then send in an address change request?

No, we are unable to accommodate address change requests that include a change to a country that is not on our accepted countries list.

5. I am moving to a country that is not listed on your accepted countries list. Does this mean I can no longer use my ClickBank account?

Yes, this means that you will no longer be able to use your ClickBank account. If you are in this situation and have money in your ClickBank account, as well as have met the stipulations of our payment policy, we will send your remaining check(s) to the address currently listed in your ClickBank account. Please be sure to have your mail forwarded with your local mail service.

weirdoux @ 1:56 am

wooo…..
i just want to celebrate it …ya know..
but it’s just a dream…..

by the way, if you got a good news, keep inform us..!

Hilmy @ 2:37 am

hmm checked it out and it’s not there! What a dissapointment.

It must have been a glitch on cb side. Well guys just go back to whatever workaround you had in the past. Life must go on :)

cathj @ 2:49 am

Soo…any reply on this matter?? Seems there is no changes on sign up form…ooo dearrrr….

smartzul @ 3:03 am

Hi Matt,

I think CB doing a maintenance or something like your said above.

Same like LcF, I also disappointed with CB. :(

PS. CB is just a dream for Malaysian? :)

Matt Ng @ 3:58 am

Guys, Still no reply from CB on my complain email. The way I see it, is that it was a glich on CB part and Malaysia was not intended to be there. The web guys screwed up. So unprofessional to let this happened. I’m damn unhappy and angry right now as I email everyone that I know about this good news that turns out to be a technical fault of CB.

Alex, thanks for verifying that it was there too earliar on. I saw “Macao was in there too.

Wong Tou Foo, I deleted your comment as it was uncalled for with name calling. Please do refrain yourself from blaming me and saying such nasty comment. If you do not know the truth or facts, please don’t simply blame me and past judgement. I don’t need to cook up fake stories like you commented to get traffic. Maybe you do but i don’t. It’s just my arse luck that CB screwed up and not my fault. Here I am giving the “good news” and when things go wrong, you start venting out your anger on me. The thanks I get…sheeeesh.

weirdoux, Will keep you inform all the time for any great news. Too bad that this “good news” turns out to be a technical fault.

cathj, I haven’t recieve any mail from CB yet. But my guess is that they will not reply as they do not wanna admit their fault. We’ll see…

Hilmy and Smartzul, Well, I was so happy when I saw “Malaysia” was in there but then again…sigh. Hopefully one fine day CB WILL come back to Malaysia. hmmmm.. maybe if all the Malaysian gurus get together and maybe ask them to let malaysia sign up? Like you guys said.. just a dream, for now…

flwong @ 4:04 am

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the great info. Even though there may be a issue there, i should said you have done a great job for all of us Malaysian. Never mind if that is not true, we will wait for the day.

No worries.

Keep it up.

cheers,
flwong

Galadriel @ 4:20 am

Matt,

CB also haven’t answered my email too. :(
Yeah, it was too good to be true.

Ignore the rude comments. You’ve done everyone a great service telling us about this issue. Thanks.

Cheers.

Matt Ng @ 4:53 am

flwong and galadriel,

Thanks for the support. With comments like yours keeps me going and to give confidence to keep helping others. THANK YOU.

I just had a thought. I will be coming out with a petition to clickbank to allow Malaysians to sign up soon. Maybe next week I will have the petition out and mail the details to everyone. I will need every Malaysian to support. I know it’s a long shot but if we don’t try, we will never know. It just drives me crazy that Malaysian can’t sign up and we malaysians have so many talented internet marketers. People like Edmund, Gobala, Vince, Sean, Kidino, Khai, Melvin, Jason, Shah, Saiful, Irfran, Steven, Senze, Jeffrey, Fione, Samsul, Hazel and more! Are we that bad?

“If the ship don’t come in, don’t wait! Swim out to it!”

k @ 5:39 am

I’m wondering if there’s anyone did sign up during the glitch.

cathj @ 6:16 am

Thank God we have some1 like you Matt…Please keep us an update..
Appreciate your hard work….

taza @ 7:24 am

Hi Matt it ok and thanks coz enter my blog and comment about ClikBank

Saleem Khan @ 7:44 am

Hi Matt,

It’s ok man. These CB is getting on my nerves. I emailed you earlier to let you know that i could not sign up, and this has happened twice actually. Once it happened to me maybe somewhere last year when i was trying to sign up…and they had Malaysia in the menu. But when i tried to sign up, it just could not go thru. That was what happened and i am just sharing it with everyone here. Why is it that we are always put on the back burner when it comes to these sort of things. Even paypal says we can’t withdraw directly to a malaysian account, but of course now we know that we can do it, but it is an indirect approach. Why is it that we malaysians are always branded as con men and liars on the internet?? I am sure there are con men in their country as well, may be even more so then here!!! Why? Why? Why? It is so frustrating!!!! They talk about how safe their bloody system is, and yet they are so afraid to let us in to do what everyone else in the world is doing and enjoying on the internet!!!

Galadriel @ 7:47 am

k,

some of us did sign up after the glitch and yes, we’re still pi$$*d off bcoz we won’t gain anything from signing up as most of us signed up with our Malaysian addresses and CB would probably just ignore it.

Matt,
that’s a great idea! I’ll sign the petition anytime.

varievirtual @ 8:45 am

i was just getting excited myself…hmmm…such an anti-climax..
why is it that CB can’t include Malaysia in their list..what hv we done wrong to them?..hmmmm..

zanli @ 3:05 pm

Great Malaysians out there especially to you matt !
Don’t give up ! “Keep counting” !

May 11, 2007

Alex @ 3:09 pm

no worries Matt. You’ve done nothing wrong but greatness by spreading the good news to all. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Stefanie @ 2:39 pm

Cath @ 8:12 am

Hi Matt,

Just opened my email to see the good new that
Malaysians could sign up for CB. But then guess
I’m behind time just like CB when I read the comments
following that! So back to Stone Age when one could
only do business with “good” guys….

Better than waiting for them to change their mind, it
would be faster if you could start writing your ebook
on how to solve this irritating obstacle!

Cheers!

Cath

varievirtual @ 9:37 am

clickbank is a marketplace..u get cheques from clickbank if made affiliate sales.

May 26, 2007

khairilz @ 1:54 am

i mean like that…malaysian peolple cannot receive check from click bank

May 27, 2007

Puvan @ 9:44 am

hey Matt,

Dont worry about the nuts, u keep on doing what u want to do. The petition is a very good idea but then again we need a good number of supports. I too getting pi$t with the malaysians being labelled as frauds. Its like the whole world is innocent and us being the black sheeps.

Can we sue them by law for this alleged claim. Maybe forcing them to show us the real stats of the cheats that has taken place would be a real step in revealing our innocents. Then again they may alter the details.

Anyway, let me know about the petition. You have my signature too buddy.

Lets prove we are Malaysians and not some 3rd class beggars.

Saidul A Shaari @ 7:41 pm

Hey there Matt..

I’m into IM too but I’m more on eBay. I have observed your Blog for some years now and today it is high time that I say something here.

There are not that many open Malaysian people when talk about sharing IM (Internet Marketing la) news and know-hows but you are definitely an exceptional exception. Please ignore whatever those idiots might say to you, you should give yourself a big pat on the back for you have given not only Malaysian but a lot of other folks a lot of help!

It is a hard to find a good online Samaritan but you are sure one of them! Keep up the good work Matt!

May 31, 2007

flwong @ 3:23 am

Hi Matt,

I am totally agreed with what Saidul said. I have been following IM quite a while. There are not alot that marketers that sharing news or tips on any IM related. But you are the few person that willing to help on any things that you know to the world. I must give a BIG pat on your back.

Just ignore any not so good comments, and go ahead with your good work and keep it up.

Like Digi commercial “I always follow you” or Nike “Just do it” Salute 100%.

cheers!!

Matt Ng @ 4:50 am

Hiya Saidul and flwong,

THANKS for the support man! Sometimes you can never please everyone but I just gotta do what i have to do to help if I can, regardless of what some “trolls” says. It used to get to me at first but after a while I realized it pointless to waste energy and time to worry about it and just carry on with what I love to do…sharing my experiences and concentrating on my businesses.

I’m not that great of an IM-er nor am I a guru or good in copywriting but at least I get the point across. I even have some mailing me and telling me that I should not do it(my reviews on products cause I tend to reveal quite a fair bit - maybe I should tone it down a little). LOL.

I am what I am cause’ I know how hard it is when starting off trying to make money online. This blog is to help those in need of the “right” infos to help them get started and not get scam-ed by buying the wrong stuffs which they don’t really need or buying stuffs which you can get it for free elsewhere. They just don’t understand the concept of an “open personal opinion”.

Anyway guys, thanks for the support. I REALLY appreciate it. I hope to meet you guys offline for a chat sometime in PJ (if you guys are game). Contact me via my contact form to arrange the meet up, yeah?

btw, did you guys go for the WIS in Singapore?

June 21, 2007

sherly @ 3:23 pm

It’s Good news for us because it’s easy to manage our business
rather than using address in United States or British. also, there are proof some outstanding internet marketer from Malaysia, like Patric Chan who give a lot of benefit to Clickbank.
